6 Special Things About Me

Oh man! I have been inactive for the past 9 weeeks. Haha alot of events and things have been happening within this period but haven't got the energy (& discipline :P) to jot them down. Indeed, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak... Haha, but I will try to be more consistent in blogging.

Oh well, I have had comments about my blog that it is abit lengthy and too serious. Ok, I shall inject more pictures and post some light-hearted content into it gradually. This post was inspired by Pastor Jeff's blog and I had a hilarious laugh at it!!!

So presenting Tee Keng Hoe!!!

1. I am a sucker at romantic movies / novels

Before anyone who read this and starts falling off the chair, let me qualify. To be more generic, I love movies that involves the human spirit; those that touches the innermost being of the heart. Some examples are: Saving Private Ryan, A beautiful Mind, The Green Mile & Blood Diamond. They may not be those movies that just revolve around romance but I think it encompass that of love at a larger extend. I guess it is really the innate feeling of loving for people/values that is larger than yourself & sacrifcing yourself for them. Oh!! I think romantic movies are somewhat a subset of that. Don't laugh but some of my All-Time Top Ten movies are : My Sassy Girl, Xing Dong (I actually brought the soundtrack!) & The Lake House (Jaws Dropped!) My favourite comics still remains at Dragonball and one pastime of mine is actually to read romantic novels online & I DO tear at romantic movies too!!! I actually went as far as wishing that I can be the hero-in-shining-amour and how I will respond differently as compared to the lead actor. *LOL

2. I am an introvert person by nature

I seriously think that your have fallen off your chair! Despite at times my seemingly chatty & rowdy personal, I am really a quiet person at heart. Probably, the best way to describe myself is that I need time to warm up myself to people as well. Haha in fact, I dare say that I am a shy person who at times, keep thoughts to myself and dunno how to respond to conversations.

3. I love to squeeze pimples on my face till the white pus come out

Hope I don't scare off anyone here! I really can't stand those pimples on my face. At the very first instance they surface, they will have to be exterminated. Just for your information, I look myself every morning in the mirror to check my pimples. I priorities it over brushing teeth, shaving and bathing. Yes, this is how important this issue is to me.

4. I am obsessed with food

Sometimes, I think God's purpose for me on earth is to really eat to my heart's content because I simply can't gain weight by eating! I am 8kg underweight for my height despite me having around 5 meals per day. I am addicted to Chilly Crab, Fishballs and Taiwan Sausages (for your info, i eat around 6 sticks of fishballs / Taiwan Sausages every week). I once eat Roti Prata every meal for up to 2 weeks, drank 3 packets of bandung every day for up to one week until I puke and eat Chicken rice up to a month (once with 7 bowls of rice.) But now, I am conscious to eat healthy as well. :-)

5. I don't bathe every night

My mother screams at me and refuses to change my bedsheet for me because of this... I literally drop dead at my bed till the next day sometimes, with my socks on. It is such a struggle and I think praying and talking to God is so much easier than bathing every night. But I will definitely bathe the subsequent morning, I guess my extremely low sweat rate is one main reason and just in case you are thinking otherwise, I do take care of my personal hygiene. (Actually my real reason is not to let my market value drop.)

6. The first words that i speak as a child is 1-10

It is not "Papa" or "Mama". My parents were so worried that they brought me to a speech specialist at the age of 5. They thought that I am a mute because I didn't utter a word (other than noise & crying) till then. My favourite toy then is actually a calculator and I am very fascinated by it. Ha I think I have neglected my linguistic development in my primary school days as I revolve my life around numbers then.
